Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941 the father of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. As a 13-year-old, Richard Bruce accompanied his parents from Nebraska to Casper (in Wyoming, the State of Wyoming) in Wyoming, where his father was director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's land conservation districts.
