Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to achieve a score of 10 in a competition at the Olympics. Comaneci was discovered by Bela Karolyi, later to be the Romanian gymnastics coach when she was only six years old. The first time she competed at the national junior championships of 1969 placing 13th and she was the winner in 1970. At her first international competition in 1972, she took the top spot by winning three gold awards. In 1975, she won four golds and one silver at her first senior international contest. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European Champion. The year was 1976 when she won the American Cup at the New York City Olympics and was the first female to ever dismount parallel bars with a double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Carol Wayne's journey into the realm of entertainment started in her teens. Together with her twin sister Nina Wayne, she joined touring entertainment programs that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol started her entertainment career when she was in her teenage years. She started her career as a figure skater performing with her sibling Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around named Ice Capades. The shows featured ice skating performances that were performed to music from the stage.
