Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the daughter of a Russian Indian mother as well as an Afghan Hindu father. She speaks fluently German Russian English. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, and mother of a Russian mother. The choreographed show she performed at age 11 which aired on German television, turned her into an Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. She graduated from high school with a bachelor's diploma from the Department of English at the University of New York. She studied improvisation and comedy at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was born to an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father from Kabul in Afghanistan. She moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13, and is now starring along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. The role she played on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is one of her best television performance. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
