Actor Katherine Heigl is opening her mind about being raised in a "white bubble" and how that realisation has impacted how she parents her adopted multiracial children. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said recently that, in terms of the color of her skin, it doesn't really matter. However, after talking to her sister, who was adopted from South Korea she realized just how differently society treats them. I inquired of Meg if, when going out with her parents she received a certain treatment while out on her own she got a completely different treatment. Meg replied: "Oh Sure, I've witnessed everything!' That made me realize that I had been so naive," Heigl said to her parents. She said that she was upset and believed it was crucial to put her anger towards helping her adoptee daughters. Heigl has a son who is four year with Josh Kelley, her husband for the past 13 years. They adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 in 2009, then Adalaide whom was eight years old young and Black in 2012.
