Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABCs drama show The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. In addition to her acting work, she's been part of several games shows. She grew up with siblings and brothers in Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's wife who is a poet, Marylee Post. She studied at Las Lomas High School where she participated in cheerleading. She was briefly a student at Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post wedding, she was married Stephen Knox in the past. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer since 1982. Together, they share two girls. Post has inspired several Hollywood actors because she is a fantastic actress, mother and wife. Early credits of Post's include the pilot for the Barnaby-Jones show in 1981, Simon & Simon: Details at Eleven in 1981 season one episode 2 of The Greatest American Hero and episodes from The A-Team. In 1983 she portrayed various characters in The Only Church in Town and Hot Styles in 1984. The actress was Diane Chambers' best friend on The ABC sitcom Cheers and Buck Rogers, in which she played Diane's most trusted close friend.
